Can't say enough about the customer service at Remix Hair Studio. I went in for a perm with Edgar and when it was finished, both Edgar and Elizabel approached me saying it hadn't turned out how they had expected, they wanted to see if I was happy with it (unfortunately I wasn't!). They wanted to make it right, and make me happy. One week later I went back in for a complimentary redo of the perm. Edgar and Elizabel worked together to make sure everything was perfect along the way. My hair is now exactly what I was hoping for thanks to the client care from the staff at Remix. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Maria for over a year now and she’s never disappointed! She’s always super attentive and asks for feedback during the cut and styling process to make sure you’re happy. She went above and beyond to make sure my hair was done for my graduation, when the appointment I booked with her for that morning was double booked accidentally. She was able to take both clients and switch in between the two of us so that we were both happy. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a very talented and sweet stylist!

When I moved to PoCo I was desperately looking for a good hair stylist close to my area after some disappointing experiences.
I was lucky enough to find Remix and Maria in Coquitlam. She is very professional, attentive, she listens to the client needs and also gives her advice, on top of that she is very nice and personable!. She has done 2 balayages on my hair so far and I couldn't be happier with her service! 100% recommended.

I had my natural hair coloured in a balayage type style to match my extensions by Maria and she did an absolutely amazing job. I have never been more happy with a look. This was really difficult to do as she had to be careful not to colour my extensions. Maria really took her time and it shows. Her prices are very reasonable as well. The salon is very clean and modern. All the staff were very friendly and efficient.

Well when they say on there site that they try and go beyond your expectations...this is so true. Maria was amazing she did a total transformation with my hair and it looks better than it had for years. Customer sèrvice is top notch, you will feel like a valued customer...highly recommend Remix. The hairstyles I went to did such a great job! I'm so grateful because when a hairdresser butchers my hair, all I want to do is cry. However, this studio did an excellent job.

After being referred by a few of my friends, I've been happily getting my haircuts at Shampoo by Maria, she is great and she cuts my hair perfectly every time. It's my favourite salon I've ever been to. Everyone is very friendly and is always making sure you're receiving the best service they can possibly provide.

My haircut with Melissa was amazing, she took her time to make sure every detail was perfect and made sure I was happy every step of the way! The outcome had me taking selfies left and right! I would highly recommend Melissa not only for her expert skills, and high sense of style but also for her humour and outright amazing attitude! Definitely check her out!

Got my hair cut by Micky a few months ago. She was complementary and non-judgmental. She realizes that some ladies come in for the salon-grade experience even when they're otherwise apathetic about their hair style. That is, I normally wear my hair up in a ponytail or bun but I enjoy being pampered once in a while. This hair salon is very professional, clean, pretty, and I didn't find it overly pricey for my cut and styling. I will eventually book another appointment here. Extra bonus is that they're open late a couple evenings per week. Super bonus is that they are walking distance from my home.

Just found this beautiful salon and had a wonderful experience. Melisa is fabulous! She cut my hair and coloured and cut my daughters hair. We both love the results. An added bonus at the salon was a mani/pedi by Moira. She did a great job and I really enjoyed my conversation with her. She did not rush me through and it was so relaxing. Both the salon and spa area are very clean and modern and the products they use are top notch! The prices are really reasonable for the service you receive. I live in Delta but I will make the trek to Coquitlam for the great hair and spa services.

Recently had my first visit here and loved it! Shanda worked a miracle on my severely damaged and colour-disaster'd hair mix up, and even gave me the cut I'd been trying for for years but could never get. Great prices and very friendly atmosphere. Beautiful set up as well. So glad I found this place!

The best SPA place I ever visited in 4 years. Moira is an astonishing person, a combination of mastery and counselling approach made my visit unforgettable, even though I only did eyebrow waxing and eyebrow tinting/eyelashes tinting. The price list is high, but it worth it, as you are treated here like nowhere else.

They got me in same day, not sure if that's usual or not but was a wonderful surprise. The stylist I had was wonderful (I can be picky with my hair) she was new to the salon but obviously had many years experience as I could tell she really knew what she was doing. Had my first experience today....I'm only sad that I didn't know about Remix sooner!!!!! Elizabel is amazing, she is very knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable in her care. I thought I wanted a texture perm, I am so very glad she told me about the process and what it would look like with my fine, long, straight hair. It wasn't for me....and I am so glad she took care of me. She did an AMAZING color and cut, and I almost can't wait until my bangs grow back so I can go there again.

I just want to say a very special thank you to Candace at Remix! I came in on Wednesday with some pretty serious damage to my hair due to a self inflicted hair faux pas (ooops!), not only was she totally kind to my bruised self esteem she did some fabulous work on my hair! I love my new short cut (even more than my vain attempt at growing my hair long), she took her time and made the whole experience really awesome. Been in the area for 3 years and I FINALLY found a salon I really like! Looks pretty trendy so I thought it'd be the usual over-inflated prices but actually pretty decent! Hopefully they keep their prices reasonable - if so, I think I'm bound to be a loyal client.

I've just come back from having Candace fix the botched cut and highlights the other stylist did and I will never leave her again! Candace is excellent at both cuts and colour, she is very knowledgeable about hair, takes her time to make sure that she understands what you want and is very honest about what will work with your type of hair and current hairstyle. And she gives the BEST shampoos!. The salon was clean, fresh and inviting - it was a good move! • • •

Not often do I feel compelled to take time out of my day to write a review for a business. But the way I was treated here left me with no other choice. As a guy I guess I've never known the difference between a haircut and a salon experience. Don't get me wrong, I've had my hair cut at a "salon" before, but those experiences left me feeling ordinary, in fact most times I'd get home and have to take out my scissors and fix a few stragglers that somehow survived the botched attempt that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. Heck, when I take my cat for her yearly lion cut, I feel she gets better value than I do having my mane cut.
So, I was quite hesitant at first, as I had been growing my hair out for over a year, and I didn't want someone to just take some clippers to my hair and ruin a years worth of toque wearing. After seeing the owner Elizabel for a 10 minute consultation, I felt confident she could deliver what she promised. I felt pampered, I felt like she actually cared that I leave her salon happy, she was very friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, highly skilled. She spent 3 hours on my hair, when she said I needed to keep a product in my hair for 30 minutes, that's how long it was in for, as I was scared to damage my hair so I also kept track, well, color me impressed, what attention to detail.
It is locally owned businesses such as this that I feel we as consumers need to support, businesses where the owners are present and involved, get their hands dirty, and all for the love of their craft.
I realize by now you're probably thinking, simmer down guy, after all, it's just a haircut, well let me tell you my friends, when you look and feel as sexxay as I do right meow, you'll understand exactly how happy a visit to this salon will leave you, walking down the street people will say, look at that dumbass grinning to himself, what's he so happy about... But more importantly you won't care, because your hair will look way better than theirs. ;)

A friend of mine recommended Remix to me so I thought id give it a try. I booked in with Shanda, I was a little sketched out at first cause of my previous experiences at other places. Shanda asked me lots of questions on what I wanted and I felt comfortable that she knew what I wanted. All in all ive never been to a professional style place like this, and I think I can get used to this type of service. The fade was just what I needed. This is my new haircut spot...
